#1 Cedar Apple Rust
Almost mistook the Cedar for an orange tree, there were so many. Also took pictures of the rust phase on the adjacent apple tree.
#1 Huge Dryad’s Saddle
The second-largest specimen I’ve ever seen. We picked it off a doomed tree in Johnson Park and made one of the Park Ranger’s day. It made the whole trunk smell like watermelon on the ride home.
Mycology Season is On!
Today we had our first big sighting, kicking off mushroom season officially.
